Collision coverage on an automobile insurance policy covers you under two different scenarios. One is if you caused the accident, your collision coverage will pay to fix your vehicle. Or if the person who caused the accident that you’ve been involved in and damaged your vehicle does not have insurance, your collision coverage will cover that.
