Does my own automobile insurance cover me for accidents when I am on my bicycle?

Your automobile insurance does not cover you in every situation on your bicycle. For instance, if you’re involved in an accident without a vehicle being involved, such as either another bicycle or you just crash on your bike, hit a pothole or something in the road, your automobile insurance would not cover you. But if a vehicle is involved in that accident, your automobile insurance would cover you for your personal injury protection benefits, and potentially your uninsured motorist coverage could come into play if you have that insurance.
