The most effective questions that an employer can ask during the interview process are, one, behavioral questions. So you’re gonna present a scenario to the applicant that you believe that they may face as part of their employment, and ask them how they’re gonna handle that situation.
The second type of questions you’re gonna ask are situational questions. And there, you’re gonna ask them about experiences they’ve had at prior jobs, and find one that’s of interest to you, that you think is relevant to this job, and ask them how they handled that situation.
And you’re gonna want to remember, when you’re asking the questions, that you want to ask open-ended questions in order to get the most out of the interview process.
