How Long Will My Commercial Litigation Lawsuit Take?

Typically, a commercial litigation case is going to take, at a minimum, six months and usually much longer. It will depend on the complexity of the case and the issues that are involved and also the documents that are involved in the case, the witnesses, and the evidence that needs to be developed. It also depends on how litigious the other side wants to be. Those are various factors that can affect the length of a case, but in Florida, I think you’re typically looking at about a year to two years of litigations.
