What should I do if I am involved in a commercial litigation dispute?

The first thing you should do is try to see if you can work out the matter yourself by talking to the other side. If that doesn’t work, then you should consult with a commercial litigator to discuss your options. Once you have a commercial litigator involved, those options may include having him negotiate on your behalf, having him institute a lawsuit to protect your rights, or looking at alternative dispute resolution procedures which may be used to resolve the matter.
