Do I have to have lights on my bicycle?

When riding a bicycle in the daytime, you do not have to have lights. But when you ride between sunset and sunrise, you do have to have a light on the front and the back. The light on the front of your bicycle should be visible from a distance of 500 feet. The rear light on your bicycle must be, by Florida statutes, visible from 600 feet away.
